In Recent Years, The Jasdf Has Been Actively Conducting Joint Training Exercises With Countries Around The World To Deepen Cooperation. In August 2023, Joint Training With The Italian Air Force Was Held At Komatsu Air Base. The F-15J That Participated In This Training Session Appeared With Special Livery Markings Welcoming The Italian Air Force, Which Was Visiting Japan For The First Time. Centered Around Streamlines Drawn In Colors Inspired By The Italian And Japanese Flags, The Left Vertical Stabilizer Features A Logo Commemorating The 100Th Anniversary Of The Italian Air Force, And The Tank Under The Left Wing Has The Words “Welcome To Komatsu Base” Written In English. It Was Also Decorated In Italian With The Slogan “100Th Anniversary Of The Founding Of The Italian Air Force” And “Flight To The Future.”
